KELLY SULLIVAN
Toronto, ON
Imaginative Yoga Storyteller
A lifelong student herself, Kelly (she/her) loves exploring yoga and meditation alongside students of all ages. She strives to bring these deep practices into the lives of those around her in ways that meaningfully align the intersections of equity, social justice, and wellbeing. Approaching her sessions through a lens of trauma-inclusivity, Kelly hopes to cultivate spaces where participants big and small can get a little bit closer to their truest selves and their place in this big, wild world. She loves to incorporate aspects of rest and rejuvenation into her yoga facilitation.
Kelly comes to us with over fifteen years of experience working with children in various creative and playful settings, as well as a 200 hr YTT and training in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga for Cancer, and Anti-Oppression + Trauma-Informed Yoga with Youth. She is currently completing her Yoga for Kids + Teens Certification, and recently completed a M.Ed in Curriculum + Pedagogy, with a focus on Wellbeing, the Arts, and Indigenous Education + Decolonization, as well as a specialization in Gender Diversity Studies. When she isn't teaching, she can be found buried in a book, wandering around the city discovering its green spaces with her partner, or playing soccer in the East End, in a 2SLGBTQQIA+ community she holds dear to her heart. We are so excited to have Kelly round out the Appleseed Team, you and your children will adore her!
